The digital mailroom receives incoming correspondence in both electronic and physical form and digitizes paper documents into an electronic format. The relevant content is automatically collected and classified so that documents can be assigned to a workflow based on rules: this may be the inbox of an employee or team or a specialized software application for the processing of claims, applications, vendor invoices, etc.
